SUPO) The Mission of the Facilities Security Specialist The Facility Security Specialist ensures ICEYE’s secure sites operate safely and in line with government security expectations. The role exists to protect people, facilities, processes, and classified information from compromise or disruption. This role applies defence-grade security practices to ICEYE’s satellite services and classified environments. It covers physical security, classified systems, personnel security, and information protection to meet national and international requirements. This includes sovereign and turnkey ISR missions leveraging ICEYE’s world-leading synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite technology, as well as access to data from the world’s largest SAR satellite constellation. These capabilities enable partners to detect and respond to critical changes anywhere on Earth with unprecedented speed and accuracy – day or night and in any weather, supported by ultra high-resolution imagery and high-frequency revisits. Expected Outcomes & Requirements Outcomes: Ensure ICEYE facilities comply with requirements to attain and maintain appropriate security classifications. Ensure remediation and improvements are actioned and reported in a timely manner. Ensure classified information protection controls are in place and any unauthorized access, data loss, and insider or external threat events are prevented or contained promptly. Government customers trust ICEYE to handle sensitive work. Security enables delivery of classified capabilities and strengthens long-term government partnerships. Security incidents are handled decisively and credibly. Breaches are reported, investigated, and resolved in coordination with authorities, with lessons learned and improvements applied. Cleared staff understand and meet their security responsibilities. Personnel consistently handle classified information correctly and comply with personnel security obligation. Role-specific Competences Defence Facility Security & Physical Protection Expertise in securing high-assurance facilities, restricted areas (e.g. SCIFs), access control, surveillance, and guard operations. National Security Compliance & Audit Readiness Strong knowledge of defence security frameworks such as FSC, KATAKRI, NIST, STANAG, or equivalent standards. Information Assurance & Classified Systems Security Experience protecting classified data, systems, and environments against espionage, exfiltration, and misuse. Personnel Security & Clearance Management Proven capability in managing vetting, clearances, training, suitability assessments, and classified document handling.
