Are you someone who takes pride in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment? As a Facility Support Personnel at our senior living community, you’ll play a vital role in helping our residents feel at home. You’ll be responsible for maintaining the facility, grounds, and equipment to ensure everything operates safely, smoothly, and efficiently. We’re looking for a dependable and detail-oriented individual who can work independently, adapt to changing needs, and bring a strong sense of integrity to their work. Primary Responsibilities: * Assist with daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces. * Clean restrooms, replenishing supplies, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the day. * Empty trash bins and manage waste disposal in accordance with department procedures. * Assist in cleaning windows, walls, and other surfaces as needed. * Perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, driveways, trimming, sweeping, mowing, removing snow and salting, etc., as necessary/directed. * Set up and take down furniture and equipment for events or meetings. * Report any maintenance or repair needs to the EVS Director. * Assist with inventory management by organizing and restocking cleaning supplies. * Complete work orders timely through an electronic portal system. * Assist with room moves including furniture, clothing, and other personal items. ✅ What You’ll Need: * 1 year of experience in custodial work, required * Position requires the ability to lift and move objects, weighting up to 35 pounds without assistance * 1 year of experience in maintenance work, preferred * Must be 18 years old * Valid unrestricted state of Michigan driver's license required The above is a summary of the position, it in no way states or implies that these are the only duties this position will be required to perform.
