As part of our commitment to providing the highest quality supported accommodation for vulnerable adults and young people, YMCA Robin Hood Group is adding a brand new role to our service. We are looking for a Facilities Team Leader to oversee the day-to-day operational management of our domestic and maintenance serviced across Worksop and Goole.
You will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of both domestic and maintenance services, to ensure our accommodation is safe, attractive and appropriate.
With previous experience of conducting site inspections, ensuring adherence to statutory building inspections, implementing effective health and fire safety procedures, you will be ready to take on this exciting challenge to make a difference in your community.
The Role
As the Facility Team Leader, you will manage and lead a small team to ensure the professional delivery and timely completion of all required tasks.

Key tasks will include:

  • Oversee maintenance operations, including reactive repairs and planned preventive maintenance
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations
  • Manage health and fire safety protocols, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and best practices
  • Supervise external contractors to assure quality of work and timely completion of projects
  • Maintain stock management and financial accountability for materials and services procured for the facilities

You will travel between our 2 supported accommodation buildings in Goole and Worksop as well across our portfolio of properties in the region. You should expect to travel most days as this is a frontline facing role and we will value your technical input and abilities to help support your team and ultimately the services and residents we support.
As we are supporting residents in domestic settings, you can expect tasks to include decorating, plumbing, joinery and general property maintenance. Keeping our properties clean and maintained to the highest standards will be imperative to your success in this role.
