Description _____________________________________________________________________________________ Facility Technician Status: Hourly Department: Administration Reports To: VP, Operations Last Revision Date: 01/01/2026 JOB SUMMARY (Two/Three Lines): • Responsible for the routine maintenance, repair, and upkeep of building facilities to ensure a safe, clean, and functional environment. • This role supports day-to-day operations by addressing minor repairs, performing preventative maintenance, and responding to maintenance requests as needed. • Responsible for managing all building systems and ensuring issues are addressed promptly by outside contractors. RESPONSIBILITIES (Tasks): • Perform routine building maintenance and minor repairs (e.g., plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting). • Conduct regular inspections of building systems and facilities to identify maintenance needs. • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of mechanical rooms, storage areas, and common spaces. • Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal, landscaping, or exterior maintenance as needed. • Ensure compliance with safety standards and building regulations. • Maintain basic records of maintenance activities and supplies used. • Directs all outside contractors and ensures timely completion of work requirements. • Implement proper protocols to ensure safety and wellness in facility. • Manages building capital projects in conjunction with vendors. • Assists Production and Engineering in the set-up and breakdown of studios. • Support Events team for in-house programs. • All other duties as assigned. KEY COMPETENCY COMPONENTS: • SKILLS: o Ability to trouble shoot system issues and identify needed repairs. o Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • KNOWLEDGE: o Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repair work.
