Citycare Property will soon partner with the New Zealand Defence Force Facilities Management Services to provide essential facilities, maintenance, and infrastructure services across camps and bases throughout Aotearoa. Join us in the role of Facility Technician, Trentham Military Camp to support the environments that enable NZDF personnel to focus on protecting and serving New Zealand communities. Trentham Military Camp is a tri‑service NZDF base in Upper Hutt near Wellington, supporting a wide range of training and operational units from the Navy, Army, and Air Force. What You’ll Be Doing | Ngā Kawenga Takohanga Carrying out a wide range of general building maintenance and handyperson tasks across NZDF facilities. Completing all work to a high standard of workmanship in accordance with best practice, manufacturer instructions, and job requirements. Working cooperatively with other team members to support service delivery. Establishing strong and positive working relationships with staff and managers. Complying with all contract requirements and Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental procedures. What We’re Looking For| Ā Mātou e Rapu Ana: Valid Full Drivers Licence. Relevant Trades Qualification (eg – plumbing, painting, electrical etc). Practical experience as a Contractor and general Handyperson experience for a minimum of 2 years. Proven Health & Safety training and experience. Absolute alignment with Citycare Property values.
