Job Purpose To ensure accurate and efficient inventory management by monitoring stock levels, maintaining inventory records, conducting cycle counts, and supporting inventory-related processes to prevent discrepancies and support manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities 1. Inventory Monitoring & Management Track and record inventory levels across general supplies. Ensure that inventory is properly stored, labeled, and organized according to company standards . Monitor slow-moving, expired, or obsolete stock and report to the Inventory Supervisor. 2. Cycle Counting & Auditing Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks in coordination with the warehouse team. Identify and investigate discrepancies between physical counts and system records. Support periodic internal and external audits, ensuring proper documentation and resolution of issues. 3. Inventory Transactions & Documentation Maintain accurate records of goods received, transferred, consumed, or returned. Ensure all transactions are recorded timely in the ERP or inventory management system . Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports . 4. Coordination & Communication Assist in planning stock replenishment based on forecasts and consumption trends. Escalate urgent shortages or stock irregularities. 5. System & Compliance Operate inventory systems efficiently and support continuous improvement of stock control processes. Ensure compliance with SOPs, and regulatory standards in all inventory activities. Participate in system upgrades or implementation of new inventory tools. Qualifications Education: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Experience: 24 years in inventory management, preferably in the GS, manufacturing. Systems: Experience using ERP systems like SAP. Skills & Competencies High attention to detail and accuracy Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good organizational and record-keeping ability Knowledge of inventory KPIs and lean stock principles Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory software
