SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior experience in a similar engineering role within a manufacturing or food production environment is preferred

Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE

You’ll be responsible for supporting the continuous running of equipment and machinery, performing routine maintenance, and organising and carrying out repairs. This hands-on role plays a vital part in ensuring our production runs efficiently, safely, and reliably.
You’ll also support improvements in our plant operations, reduce the incidence of breakdowns, and help implement maintenance strategies to drive long-term reliability.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Carry out routine, scheduled maintenance and respond to equipment faults
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical breakdowns and faults
  • Support and manage planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules
  • Fit new parts and ensure equipment is fully functional
  • Maintain and control stores of maintenance tools and equipment
  • Deal with emergency breakdowns and repairs
  • Operate and maintain specialist equipment, including PLC-controlled systems
  • Write and implement maintenance strategies and procedures
