JOB DESCRIPTION & ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Equipment Operation: Operate and monitor equipment such as pumps and valves to regulate the flow of fluids through processing units.
  • Quality Control: Conduct routine quality checks on fluids at different stages of the production process to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine filter checks, for abnormalities and promptly report any malfunctions or abnormalities for maintenance or repair.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents or incidents and maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, process parameters, and equipment performance for reporting and analysis purposes.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to optimize production processes and achieve operational goals.
  • Operating to a high degree of Health and Safety and good housekeeping standard
  • Blending/mixing of raw material to create finished product, following formulation specification.
  • Setting up and running of fluids on proportioning pumps
  • Taking bulk deliveries of Chemicals
  • Forklift Truck Driving
  • Sampling and Testing
  • Recording weights and measurements
  • Operation of pump and valve systems
  • Reporting of mechanical and chemical issues to relevant personnel
