About the Role

We are looking for a reliable Factory Hand to join our Operations team at our Upper Swan - WA manufacturing site. This is a hands‑on casual role suited to someone with experience in production, packing or warehousing.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Operate basic packing, sealing, printing and checking equipment
• Prepare and stage packaging materials
• Complete quality checks and production records
• Palletise, wrap and label finished goods for dispatch
• Follow all WHS and site safety requirements
• Support line changeovers, rework and general factory duties

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, packing or warehousing
• Strong safety awareness and manual handling knowledge
• Ability to follow SOPs and work instructions
• Reliable, punctual and a strong team player
• A forklift license highly regarded (or willingness to obtain)

Full job description

Re-Tech Plastics is located in Moorooka and has been operating for 32 years manufacturing PVC bends and accessories across Australia to a magnitude of wholesalers and construction projects.

About the role

We are looking for a casual employee who can work shifts between Monday to Friday (flexible with days), 7am - 4pm.

Your role will include:

• Operating machinery to manufacture bends and other accessories - including drop saws, large ovens and socketing machines.
• General cleaning of product and factory area as required
• Developing a good understanding of product and communicating with other staff to understand current business needs
• Working consistently and to a high standard in a team environment

Skills and experience

We are looking for someone with the ability to:

• Perform repetitive movement and work
• Stand for longer periods at a time
• Safely lift heavy items
• Learn and take instruction well to ensure the best understanding of how to produce consistent high quality product
• Communicate strongly

No experience is necessary! We will train you in all aspects of the role - all that is required of you is a good attitude and willingness to learn.
