Description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Factory Manager on behalf of a leading luxury fit-out company in the UAE. This is a senior leadership role responsible for managing the complete factory and joinery manufacturing operation, ensuring the successful delivery of high-end interior fit-out projects for luxury retail, hospitality, residential, and commercial clients. We are specifically looking for candidates who have worked within established luxury fit-out and joinery companies. Candidates from general manufacturing, FMCG, automotive, or unrelated industries will not be considered. Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage all factory and joinery operations. • Oversee production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation. • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. • Manage production teams, supervisors, foremen, and factory personnel. • Coordinate closely with project managers, procurement, design, and site teams. • Monitor productivity, efficiency, quality control, and operational performance. • Implement process improvements to enhance factory output and delivery timelines. • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards. • Manage factory capacity planning and production workflow to support multiple projects simultaneously. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and joinery operations. Requirements To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria: • Minimum 10 years of experience within a luxury fit-out, joinery, or bespoke interior manufacturing company (ie. hotel, retail shops, etc.) • Proven experience as a Factory Manager, Joinery Factory Manager, Production Manager (Joinery), Manufacturing Manager (Fit-Out), or similar senior factory leadership role. • Strong experience managing joinery production, factory operations, production planning, quality control, and delivery management. • Demonstrated experience delivering luxury residential, hospitality, retail, or commercial fit-out projects. • Strong knowledge of joinery manufacturing processes, woodworking machinery, factory workflow, and production planning. • Experience leading large factory teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously. • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. • Preferred Background Candidates will be highly preferred if they have experience working with: • Luxury retail fit-out projects • High-end residential villas and palaces • Luxury hospitality projects • Bespoke joinery manufacturing • Premium commercial interiors • UAE or GCC-based fit-out and joinery companies Important Note This role is intended for experienced Factory Managers with a proven track record in luxury fit-out and joinery manufacturing environments. Candidates whose experience is primarily in general manufacturing, industrial production, construction contracting without factory oversight, FMCG, food production, packaging, automotive, or unrelated sectors are unlikely to meet the requirements of this position.
