Lindstrand Industries Ltd., a global manufacturer of aerostat platforms and advanced inflatable structures, is looking for an experienced Factory Manager to join our team in Oswestry, UK.
Position: Factory Manager – Full-time, On-site - Oswestry, UK

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience in manufacturing management, preferably in aerospace, defense, or technical textiles (other complex manufacturing sectors also considered).
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Expertise in production planning, resource allocation, and workflow optimization.
  • Familiarity with QA/QC processes and health & safety regulations.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering & Management, Business Administration, or any other relevant academic field – an advantage. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities

As Factory Manager, you will lead and optimize all aspects of our manufacturing operations, ensuring quality, efficiency, and timely delivery.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing day-to-day operations of the aerostat and inflatable structure facility.
  • Overseeing production schedules, quality control, and delivery deadlines.
  • Leading a multidisciplinary team (technicians, seamstresses, welders, inspectors).
  • Implementing efficient processes, safety protocols, and cost-control measures.
  • Collaborating with design, engineering, and procurement teams for seamless execution.
  • Maintaining compliance with industry standards, certifications, and customer requirements.
  • Driving continuous improvement and innovation in production processes.
