Bradnam’s Windows and Doors have an opening for Factory Process Workers to join our team located in Cairns. We will provide you with all the tools and product training required to see you succeed in role and bring the Bradnam’s Difference.

  • A willingness to learn about our products and processes, and have good attention to detail and quality workmanship;
  • Experience with hand and power tools or be willing to learn;
  • Be punctual and reliable with good communication skills;
  • Previous workplace experience with Aluminium Fabrication is highly regarded, but not essential;
  • Approach every task positively while demonstrating a commitment to safe work practices;

To be successful in this role you’ll exhibit a positive, self-motivated attitude and enjoy collaborating with a team to ensure desired commercial outcomes.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

This hands on role will see you positively contribute to the daily production requirements of the Branch by manufacturing an assembling Bradnam’s products. Become a part of our Window, Door or Robe lines, or part of the Despatch area and join a great team. Process work can be very varied and easily allows for cross training and upskilling opportunities.

Process Workers will undertake a variety of duties, including but not limited to:

  • Picking and prepping metal;
  • Using hand and power tools;
  • Working across different lines in the factory, whilst maintaining a commitment to producing high quality product;
  • Handle product in line with approved manual handling techniques and requirements, including some heavy lifting requirements;
  • Demonstrate and uphold a commitment to safe work practices and comply with all site requirements regarding mandatory PPE, sign in or other processes and procedures
