SUMMARY

Delivers relevant course content online from master courses that use a variety of teaching methods and tools. Ensures that students achieve and demonstrate mastery of stated learning objectives

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s degree in sociology or a master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in sociology from a regionally accredited institution of higher education, or other appropriate accreditation as determined by Johnson & Wales University
• Online teaching experience
• Experience with Blackboard LMS
• Successful candidates must be committed to working effectively with diverse student populations

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Earned doctoral degree in sociology or a related field of study
  Compensation: $4,100 - $4,700/course dependent on course and degree of candidate
