The Ohio State University’s College of Dentistry is seeking candidates for a Faculty Affairs and Development Manager position. The Faculty Affairs and Development Manager plays a vital role in supporting faculty success and institutional excellence, and frequently directly interacts with Chairs and the Executive Associate Dean.
This position is responsible for managing faculty personnel processes, coordinating promotion and tenure activities, directing faculty development initiatives, developing educational offerings and programs for faculty, overseeing the Peer Review of Teaching program including its curriculum development, and supporting academic assessment and reporting. This role supervises a team member who assists with the Promotion and Tenure process. The role requires a high level of discretion, organizational skill, and the ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, and academic leadership.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 2 years’ experience in academic administration, faculty affairs, or instructional development.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
• Proficiency with academic technologies and data management tools.

Desired:

• Master’s Degree

Pay Range: $55,700- $72,700
Salary will be based off of education, experience and budget allowance
