Description

The First-Year Engineering Program is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach one section of the first-year engineering course (ENGR 0012-Intro to Engineering Computing). Main responsibilities include: - Teach one section of the first-year engineering courses, Spring 2026 semester, scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:00-6:50 pm, Room 229. - Prepare materials to be used in class. - Provide an active learning environment for students. - Create and write assignments and quizzes with the other first-year engineering faculty. - Attend weekly meetings with the first-year engineering faculty. - Grade, along with all TAs and instructors, exams, and assignments. Applicants must have engineering degrees at the undergraduate and graduate levels and have prior teaching experience.

Responsibilities

The adjunct instructor will teach one section of the first-year engineering course and prepare materials for class. They will also create assignments and quizzes, attend faculty meetings, and grade exams and assignments.
