Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Within ISD, this exciting post sits within Faculty IT & Partnering who provides local specialist applications and systems support across a high volume of users. Additionally, there will be heavy involvement with IT strategic business partnering across a variety of different divisions.
Primarily this role is customer focussed, where you will be expected to provide prompt, expert technical support to staff, students and honorary contract holders across a wide range of IT services. You will be expected to build on your knowledge of the customer department(s) and utilise your specialist IT knowledge to engage proactively with customers to develop ways in which IT can improve their work.
A key fundamental will be to work across diverse teams, supporting all Schools, Faculties, Departments and Institutes (sometimes physical, sometimes virtual).
