The College of Dentistry invites applications from qualified individuals for a part time Without Term faculty position in Endodontics whose specialty program has prepared them to contribute to the teaching and mission of the College.
We seek candidates who have postgraduate specialty training in Endodontics at the Masters level or equivalent; demonstrated ability to engage in the delivery of the didactic, pre clinical and clinical aspects of the Endodontics program and effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Preference will be given to those who have passed the National Dental Specialty Examination in Endodontics administered by the Royal College of Dentists of Canada or certification by an American Dental Association-Recognized Dental Specialty Certifying Board. Candidates must be licensed or eligible for licensure by the College of Dental Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CDSS) and are encouraged to familiarize themselves with Saskatchewan licensing requirements: http://www.saskdentists.com/saskatchewan-licensing-requirements.html. Candidates who are graduates from non-accredited dental training programs must achieve National Dental Examining Board of Canada certification (http://www.ndeb.ca/) and/or Royal College of Dentists of Canada Fellowship (http://www.rcdc.ca/home.cfm) to achieve tenure. Salary bands for this position are as follows: Assistant Professor: $93,293 to $112,109; Associate Professor: $112,109 to $130,925; and Professor: $130,925 to $152,877. Independent of rank, a starting salary above the standard salary bands is possible in rare and exceptional circumstances pursuant to Article 18.2.6.12 of the 2014-2017 USFA Collective Agreement (see: http://www.usaskfaculty.ca/?attachment_id=3298).
