Description

The University of Pittsburgh, Department of Ophthalmology, is searching for an Assistant Professor, a full-time, non-tenure position. Position will be a full-time MD tending to patients for the Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus surgery. Main responsibilities will be providing clinical care to patients on the Pediatric Ophthalmology service. Research focus will be in pediatric eye movement disorders, particularly strabismus and nystagmus, as they significantly impact visual development, functional vision, and quality of life in children. MD degree required with Pediatric Ophthalmology experience, plus 5+ years of overall Ophthalmology experience.
