Description
The candidate will be responsible for completing a clinical trial, Reducing Inflammation for Greater Health RIGHT), including finalizing treatment and follow-up of all participants. The faculty member will also complete work on the analysis of the Study of Mobility and Muscle Aging (SOMMA), completing ongoing manuscripts in progress. The faculty member will bring expertise in the epidemiology of aging and chronic disease to advise these studies and their investigative teams as a member of the studies’ steering committees. The faculty member will bring expertise in the coordination of multi-center studies , including protocol design, data security, quality assurance, and quality control. human subjects’ protection, FDA regulations, and strong analytical skills. The incumbent will continue to serve as a mentor to other faculty and will continue to present research at local, national, and international research conferences. The candidate should have an MD and 20+ years of experience in clinical trials, particularly in a university setting.
