The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences in the School of Medicine is seeking a Visiting Faculty Scholar to work at the Magee-Womens Research Institute. Magee-Womens Research Institute (MWRI) is an independent research institute and one of the largest in the nation that focuses on reproductive biology, and women's and infants' health. Since its inception in 1992, MWRI has been a leader in funding from the National Institute of Health (NIH) and other sources. Opportunities are available to work with members of MWRI on specific research projects. The candidate will conduct research focused on a project evaluating novel immunotherapeutic agents for quiescent cancer cells. In addition to targeting cancer cells, the research will include the impact of therapeutics on tumor immune effector cells or tumor-associated stromal cells.
