UNIVERSITY OF PITTSBURGH MEDICAL CENTER The University of Pittsburgh Department of Anesthesiology serves one of the nation’s largest integrated delivery systems and is actively recruiting a Visiting Scholar to participate in the Clinical Research activities within the Department of Anesthesiology’s Cardiac/Perioperative Research Program. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: · A hands-on approach to interacting with study participants and health professionals in the clinical research setting, with exposure to many surgical specialties · Collaboration with faculty investigators in the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine · Conduction of Data analysis and manuscript development for the research project · The ability to work with a highly productive team is critical to the success of this position Requirements: Candidates should possess an M.D. or Ph.D. degree. He/she should have the ability to work collaboratively and be interested in working with individuals from many different backgrounds, including clinicians and basic scientists.
