Responsibilities

As a member of the Faculty’s technical team, the post holder will provide day to day operational support to the technical services provision within the Faculty of Science and Health supporting teaching, research, innovation and commercial activities.
The post holder will aid with maintenance of equipment and materials in accordance with relevant legislation and University Policies across all 4 Schools: School of Dental, Health and Care Professions (DHCP); School of Medicine, Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences (SMPBS); School of Psychology, Sport and Health Sciences (PSHS); School of the Environment and Life Sciences (ELS).
This role will be aligned, but not exclusively, to the Bioresources unit, which includes the European Xenopus Resource Centre (EXRC), in delivering high quality technical support for the provision, maintenance and use of various scientifically important colonies of animal models for both research and teaching.
This is a fixed term appointment to 30 April 2026.
