Job Description
The Failsafe Officer is responsible for ensuring that all patients eligible for Diabetic Eye Screening are invited to attend their appointments; that patients’ movements can be tracked through the care pathway and any concerns or omissions are escalated. This will require ensuring that policies and procedures are in place and regularly audited for compliance. This will be achieved by ongoing data audits, list validations and liaising with multiple stakeholders.
