QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum a Degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines. PhD/Masters will be an advantage.
• With at least 3 years of working experience
• Experience in FA, material testing in laboratory environment and consultation field preferred.
• Good knowledge and hands-on experience in major material analytical equipment such as SEM, EDX, XRD, metallurgy examination
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Has an inquisitive mind for new knowledge in addition to having excellent analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects as a team player as well as an individual contributor
• Familiar with ISO17025 quality management system

• Reporting to the Assistant Vice President, you will provide failure analysis and advisory services targeted at a wide range of industrial clients within the region.
• Key Responsibilities
• Conduct engineering failure analysis (FA) and materials-related testing to identify root cause of failures.
• Liaise and communicate with industrial customers, providing consultation and advisory services.
• Prepare proposals, site surveys, laboratory analysis, reports, presentations.
• Render support in lab and quality management
