Responsibilities:
Are you looking to make a difference in the federal government? Are you looking for a career, not just a “job”? Are you passionate about doing what’s right? Do you have experience and skills in data analysis and data science, specifically as it relates to telecom and endpoint technologies? Then we have a position for you.
This is for a part-time internship during the school semester. The work will be between 8-20 per week with a flexible schedule. The role will start with the fall semester with potential extensions given for the spring semester where applicable.

Project Description

  • Working with work with large amounts of data and develop detailed reports and analysis
  • Working on individual and group projects to research and develop unique solutions for our FAA Clients
  • Translate customer requirements into software environments

Required Qualifications:

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

  • A GPA of 3.3 or higher
  • U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Resident (must have lived in the US for the past 3 years), and the ability to obtain and maintain a clearance
  • Be a rising undergraduate junior/senior or current Masters student with a focus on relevant topics areas (e.g., information systems; computer science, data science, computer engineering.)
  • Must know how to use Java, SQL, Python, C, C#, or JavaScript

Desired Qualifications:

  • Data science, computer science, or modeling
  • Have an awareness, understanding, and working knowledge with some of the tools/technologies/libraries, and have a willingness to learn
  • FAA experience or an interest in working with the FAA
