Description Employment Type: Internship Job Description: The Field Co-op will work under the direction of/closely with one of CM&B’s Superintendents on a job site assigned upon hire. The position will develop a fundamental understanding of general commercial/industrial/institutional construction practices. The Field Co-op/Intern reports directly to the Senior Vice President/Operations, Steve Malenchini. Essential Duties and Responsibilities General Gain an understanding of scopes of work with job-specific drawings and documents Assist CM&B project superintendent in directing sub-contractor tasks on a day-to-day basis Attend walk-through with safety inspectors Assist CM&B project superintendent to ensure job site safety is up to OSHA standards Assist CM&B project superintendent with daily logs and weekly meeting preparation Assist CM&B project superintendent with additional construction tasks in the field as necessary CM&B is an Equal Opportunity Employer Requirements Qualifications Construction Management major, or related field OSHA 10 required (can be completed upon hire) Ability to travel to site daily Accurate and efficient with a strong work ethic and interpersonal communication skills CM&B encourages all Co-op/ Interns to immerse in the company culture by networking internally and participating in company events.
