Your future role at a glance Location: Tulsa, Owasso, Broken Arrow, Bartlesville and Sapulpa Facility: Ascension St. John Medical Center, Ascension St. John Owasso, Ascension St. John Broken Arrow, Jane Phillips Medical Center and Ascension St. John Sapulpa Department: Various Units Schedule: PRN, Maximum 12 hours a week, Flexible Scheduling How you'll make an impact in this role Working side-by-side with a Preceptor, you will play a vital part in the patient’s healing journey by ensuring they feel cared for, safe, and heard. Provide personalized bedside support by assisting patients with daily activities and comfort measures, ensuring every individual maintains their dignity and feels supported during their stay. Monitor and report vital health signs to provide the nursing team with the real-time data necessary to make informed, life-saving clinical decisions. Contribute to the evolution of care plans by sharing your unique observations and test results with your Preceptor, helping to tailor treatments to the patient’s specific needs. Streamline the patient experience by coordinating safe transport and preparing clinical environments, ensuring that diagnostic tests and treatments happen without delay. Document the patient story by capturing accurate observations and status changes, creating a clear and reliable record that ensures continuity of care across the shift. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: High school diploma/GED required. Must be accepted or enrolled into a Nursing program upon date of hire/transfer and begin classes within 90 days of date of hire/transfer required.
