As a fall co-op with the Manulife Wealth Investment Office, you will support the day-to-day management of Manulife Wealth’s managed programs and investment product research, including Advisor Managed Programs (Portfolio Management program), Unified Managed Accounts, and Investment Product Research. In addition, you will collaborate with several internal teams, including Operations, Advisor Support, Legal, Compliance, and Marketing, to support daily operations and regular deliverables within the Manulife Wealth Investment Office. Position Responsibilities: Support day-to-day activities and projects for portfolio managed account programs, including unified managed accounts and portfolio management activities for our advisors with clients in Canada and the US. Support centrally managed accounts program in response to sub-advisor trade recommendations, client cash flow requests and other managed account overlay activities. Work with team leaders to develop job aids for Investment Advisors on investment and portfolio management related topics. Using cutting edge portfolio management platform to review and calibrate client investment portfolios. Work with Investment Advisors and support the Pathway to Portfolio Management program at Manulife Wealth. Collaborate with and organize senior team members on various projects and initiatives. Other tasks and related activities that arise from shifting priorities. Required Qualifications: Enrollment in a post-secondary institution required. Interested in or enrolled in CFA charter program is an asset. A positive attitude. A curious mind. An ability to share ideas constructively. Strong personal initiative and interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. General technical proficiency with a focus on core business applications such as Microsoft Office, MS Forms, Excel, PowerPoint.
