JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a fall farmers market associate for Sunset Farm. This individual will travel to and from our Friday and Saturday farmers markets in our farm van to sell produce and flowers. This individual should be outgoing, responsible, and have an attention to detail. In addition to hourly pay, this person will also receive free produce as a benefit.

EXPERIENCE

• Previous sales experience encouraged but not required
• Knowledge of Connecticut agriculture and produce encouraged, but not required
• Clean driving record
  Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
  Pay: $19.00 per hour
  Expected hours: 15 per week

• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers and assisting with their inquiries.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash transactions and ensuring accurate cash handling.
• Create attractive farmers market displays.
• Utilize a produce scale to conduct transactions.
