The Family Dynamics Research Analyst provides critical data and insight on how systemic injustices affect families in both the church and community. This role identifies barriers to family stability and equips ministry leaders with monthly reports that inform practical responses and advocacy. Doing ministry/preparing for ministry: 10–15 hours per week 2. Participating in meetings/trainings: 2–3 hours per month Responsibilities/Duties 1. Research and document how systemic poverty affects families (e.g., wages, housing access, food insecurity). 2. Gather data on healthcare denial and its impact on parents, children, and elderly caregivers. 3. Track disparities in education access and equity for children and teens in local schools. 4. Provide analysis of how environmental degradation (pollution, lack of green spaces) disproportionately affects families. 5. Collect stories and statistics on how systemic racism disrupts family stability through unfair policies and practices. 6. Research and report on family-level effects of the war economy and militarization of communities (e.g., trauma, displacement). 7. Analyze how false moral narratives affect family dynamics (e.g., religious nationalism impacting unity or safety). 8. Document challenges faced by migrant families related to fairness, access to resources, and family separation. 9. Develop a monthly report highlighting key findings and recommendations for family ministry action. 10. Collaborate with other Research Analysts to provide intersectional data for broader justice initiatives.

The Family Dynamics Research Analyst conducts research to understand how systemic injustices affect families and provides insights to inform ministry leaders.
