POSITION OVERVIEW

The Family Engagement Specialist serves as the primary connection point between our childcare centers and the families we serve. This role focuses on building relationships, increasing family involvement, supporting enrollment retention, and ensuring consistent communication—all done remotely.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in family engagement, enrollment, admissions, customer service, community outreach, or education (childcare experience preferred).
  • Excellent phone and email communication skills with a warm, approachable tone.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities remotely.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace, and basic social media platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of professionalism in a home office setting.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for all new prospective families, providing warm, timely responses to inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate records in our CRM.
  • Focus on enrolling new families by guiding them through the intake process, presenting program options, and scheduling tours with center directors.
  • Welcome and onboard new families virtually, ensuring a smooth transition into our programs.
  • Send confirmation and reminder communications for scheduled tours.
  • Maintain regular communication through newsletters, social media, and direct outreach.
  • Track and report family engagement data, satisfaction, and participation.
  • Support marketing and outreach efforts for prospective families when needed.
