FAMILY FOUNDATIONS PRACTITIONER - QUALIFIED PROFESSIONAL

Location/Schedule: Hendersonville / Asheville Region, Full-Time. Travel to community agencies and families’ homes will be required. Position will require after-hours on-call support to children and families, and team members must live locally to the Hendersonville area (within 1 hour driving distance).

In this role, you’ll provide critical support through direct behavioral interventions and case management, fostering hope and healing for families in our Intensive In-Home Program. Hiring Range: $44,000 to $50,000 annually - Compensation is based on experience and qualifications. Candidates who meet only the minimum requirements can expect to start at the beginning of the range, while those with additional and relevant experience and/or advanced skills may be considered for higher starting pay within the range.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

At minimum, meets requirements for a Qualified Professional which are one of the following:

  • Holds a license, provisional license, certificate, registration or permit issued by the governing board regulating a human service profession
  • Graduate of a college or university with a Masters degree in a human service field and has one year of full-time, pre- or post-graduate degree accumulated supervised clinical experience with children and families
  • Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor’s degree in a human service field and has two years of full-time, pre- or post-bachelor’s degree accumulated supervised clinical experience with children and families
  • Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor’s degree in a field other than human services and has four years of full-time, pre- or post-bachelor’s degree accumulated supervised clinical experience with children and families

  • Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
Responsibilities

Service Delivery:

  • Implement behavioral interventions aligned with NC’s Intensive In-Home Service Definition.
  • Provide at least 12 family contacts in the first service month; six monthly contacts thereafter.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver personalized support plans.
  • Maintain 24/7 availability (shared on-call responsibilities).

Administrative Tasks:

  • Complete and submit clinical documentation.
  • Adhere to agency protocols for financial and operational procedures.

Collaboration:

  • Build relationships with local social service agencies, schools, and faith-based organizations.
  • Actively contribute to team meetings and case staffings.
