POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Family Law Associate with a minimum of seven years of experience in family law to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is a dedicated legal professional with strong knowledge of family law, excellent client management skills, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Juris Doctor (JD) and membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience practicing Ontario family law.
  • Strong knowledge of family law.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional client management and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
    Compensation: starting at $160,000 plus bonus
Responsibilities
  • Handle a diverse caseload of family law matters.
  • Provide strategic legal advice and representation to clients.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and draft pleadings, motions, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Represent clients in Court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations.
  • Work closely with colleagues to develop and implement effective legal strategies.
  • Stay current with evolving family law legislation and case law.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and exceptional service.
