Multiple Individuals working in our expanded Family Law Division in Newport News.
Family Law Litigation paralegal with 5+ years experience to work at an established and well known firm in the Hampton Roads area.
Must be competent in the following: drafting pleadings, including, but not limited to, Complaint, Answer, Counterclaim, Demurrer, Petition for Rule to Show Cause, and Motion to Amend; drafting Orders; preparing and responding to discovery; preparing witness subpoenas and subpoenas duces tecum, exhibit and witness lists, Income/Expense Statement, Property Inventory, Pension Schedule, Debt Schedule, Property and Support Proffers, and Child Custody Proffer; and calculating spousal support, child support, and family debt adjustment using support guidelines. Must be able to handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced team-oriented environment and communicate with clients throughout the duration of their case.
