JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Lawyer; qualified solicitor or Chartered Legal executive with minimum 4 years post qualification to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law and possess exceptional negotiation skills. As a Family Lawyer, you will provide legal advice and representation to clients in matters related to divorce, children’s matter, adoption, and other family-related issues. Your expertise will help clients navigate complex legal situations with compassion and professionalism.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Qualified solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with a valid practising certificate ( minimum 5 years PQE).
  • Proven experience in family law practice is essential.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in legal documentation.

Responsibilities
  • Provide legal advice to clients on family law matters, including divorce, financial settlement, child arrangement, cohabitation arrangement, domestic abuse and injunction matters.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations with opposing parties.
  • Draft and review legal documents
  • Conduct thorough research on relevant laws and regulations to support case strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and case progress
  • Communicate effectively with clients to keep them informed about their cases and potential outcomes.
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients while advocating for their best interests.
  • Stay updated on changes in family law legislation and best practices.
