My client, a well-respected Legal 500 firm, is seeking a Senior Associate to join their established and growing Family Law team in Swindon. This is a key strategic hire for the department, and the firm is looking for a confident, experienced family lawyer who is commercially minded and ready to play an integral role in driving business development and expanding the team’s presence in the region.

THE ROLE

This is a broad and rewarding position, working exclusively with privately funded clients on a range of complex and high-quality family law matters. You will have the opportunity to build upon an already strong caseload and contribute meaningfully to the future direction of the department.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Managing a caseload covering divorce, separation, financial remedy, and private children law matters
• Drafting pre-nuptial, post-nuptial, and cohabitation agreements
• Representing clients in court proceedings, negotiations, and hearings
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members and contributing to their development
• Working closely with colleagues across the firm to deliver a seamless client experience
• Actively engaging in business development, marketing initiatives, and professional networking to grow the department’s client base
