POSITION OVERVIEW • Outpatient Family Medicine role focused on total patient care • Chronic disease management, preventive care, and coordinated referrals • Rural community healthcare environment with strong support resources • Opportunity to participate in quality improvement and community education initiatives • No hospital rotations required COMPENSATION • Base salary starting at $220,000+ based on experience • Sign-on bonus • Quarterly retention bonuses • Relocation assistance • Significant tax-free student loan repayment opportunities SCHEDULE • Four- or five-day work week • No weekend work requirements • Minimal on-call schedule • Up to eight hours weekly administrative time ROLE • Manage total patient care including diagnosis, treatment, and referrals • Minimize progression of chronic and disabling conditions • Participate in quality improvement and in-service training programs • Potential supervision of mid-level providers • Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams ENVIRONMENT • Scenic northern Michigan community surrounded by lakes and forests • Strong outpatient support structure • Experienced mid-level providers within team • Paired medical assistants, RN case manager, behavioral health therapist, and clinical pharmacist support • Federal malpractice coverage through FTCA plus gap insurance BENEFITS • Health insurance ($36.67 – $58.68 per pay period) • Dental and vision insurance • Life insurance • Short-term and long-term disability coverage • 20 PTO days during first year plus 9 paid holidays • Licensing fees and malpractice coverage paid by employer • CME stipend and paid CME time • Healthcare flexible spending account • Up to $200,000 NHSC loan repayment eligibility • Up to $300,000 MSLRP loan repayment eligibility • PSLF eligibility after 10 years employment Requirements • Graduate of an accredited School of Medicine REQUIRED • Active Michigan Medical License REQUIRED • Michigan Controlled Substance License REQUIRED • Federal DEA License REQUIRED • Board Certified REQUIRED • Ability to independently diagnose and manage chronic medical conditions REQUIRED • Strong interpersonal communication and decision-making skills REQUIRED Not ready to formally apply?
