Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a dedicated, Board-Certified (or Board-Eligible) Family Medicine Physician to join our Austin Avery Ranch clinic. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed physician to provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population while working within an integrated healthcare system that prioritizes excellence, innovation, and collaboration.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Doctorate in Medicine (MD or DO)
  • Licensed to practice in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
  • Board-certified or actively pursuing board certification in Family Medicine (American Board of Medical Specialties or Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists)
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Family Medicine Physician, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care to patients aged 3 and older. You will treat a variety of conditions, provide preventive services, and coordinate care with specialists as needed. We are looking for a physician who excels in teamwork, values high-quality patient outcomes, and has a passion for continuing education and collaboration within a multidisciplinary care team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide comprehensive care for patients aged 6 months and older, managing chronic and acute conditions.
  • Collaborate with specialists, referring physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for patients.
  • Stay current with advancements in medical practice and integrate evidence-based care into daily practice.
  • Document patient interactions and treatment plans in accordance with system protocols.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a patient-focused care model.
