This role offers the opportunity to deliver comprehensive, community-focused care across the lifespan while making a meaningful impact in an underserved population. Start Date: June / July Schedule: Monday–Friday | Day Shift Hours: 40 hours per week (8-hour shifts) Contract Type: 1099 Independent Contractor, Contract Length: Up to 1 year with extension options Location: Piñon, AZ Facility Info: https://www.ihs.gov/navajo/healthcarefacilities/pinon/ What You’ll Do Provide primary care services to patients across the lifespan in an outpatient clinic setting Conduct routine exams, chronic disease management, and acute care visits Provide pediatric care including well-child exams, sick visits, and developmental screenings Diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans Administer immunizations and manage preventive care services Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams Document accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) What We Offer Competitive 1099 compensation Consistent Monday–Friday schedule (no weekends) Opportunity for long-term extension Supportive clinical environment Travel and local candidates welcome Additional Details Fully onsite role Must have FNP experience Clinic serves patients of all ages Credentialing process may take up to 90 days Additional Duties Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
