POSITION OVERVIEW • Outpatient Family Nurse Practitioner role serving patients across the lifespan within the Navajo Nation community • Opportunity to provide evidence-based primary care in a mission-driven underserved healthcare environment • Collaborative multidisciplinary care model focused on long-term patient relationships and preventative care • Strong provider support structure with built-in administrative time and manageable patient volume • Unique Southwest location surrounded by Monument Valley and culturally rich Navajo communities COMPENSATION • Base Salary: $109,000 – $152,000 • $7,500 retention bonus beginning second year SCHEDULE • Four-day work week • Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday schedule options • No call responsibilities • Built-in administrative time ROLE • Deliver outpatient primary care services for patients of all ages • Manage chronic and acute medical conditions within community health setting • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care • Maintain evidence-based clinical practice standards and preventative care initiatives • Support underserved and culturally diverse patient populations • Maintain patient documentation and care coordination workflows ENVIRONMENT • Outpatient-only primary care environment • Mission-driven underserved healthcare organization • Team-based collaborative care structure • Established community-focused patient care model • Southwestern desert and Monument Valley region setting BENEFITS • Relocation assistance available • FTCA malpractice coverage • CME allowance: $2,000 annually plus 40 paid CME hours • 3 weeks paid vacation plus sick leave • Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance • 403(b) retirement plan with up to 9% combined match • Paid licensure, DEA, and membership fees • Additional voluntary benefits available • Employee Assistance Program • Federal student loan repayment eligibility Requirements • Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C or FNP-BC) REQUIRED • Arizona license or ability to obtain REQUIRED • Active DEA registration REQUIRED • Current BLS certification REQUIRED • Passion for underserved and culturally diverse communities REQUIRED • Ambulatory care experience preferred • Navajo or Spanish language skills preferred Not ready to formally apply?
