The Robert C. Byrd Clinic, located on the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine campus, is actively seeking a full-time, experienced Family Nurse Practitioner to join our well-established and growing rural practice.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing. Capable of making independent advanced practice nursing assessment decisions in a primary care setting. Ability to obtain prescriptive authority with the West Virginia Board of Nursing.
EXPERIENCE:
Experience within a primary health care environment required. Experience with chronic care medication management.
Licenses/Certifications: Certification by the West Virginia Board of Nursing as an Advanced Practice Nurse. Current DEA, when required. Must be able to meet and maintain credentialing, privileging, and malpractice insurability requirements. Current CPR or BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, if appropriate. Maintain an active collaborative agreement with an appropriate RCBC physician when required by the West Virginia Board of Nursing.
