Description We are seeking a Family Office Professional in the Private Client Group of our wealth management firm, located in Norfolk, Virginia. The candidate will use their administrative and bookkeeping experience to record transactions and prepare financial reports for high-net-worth clients. This position offers work from home flexibility 2 days per week after orientation period. Position responsibilities: Use Clearstead-defined systems and processes to manage and enter client bills for payment Track and reconcile client account balances to ensure sufficient funds for bills and upcoming charges Prepare monthly bill-pay reconciliation reports to be reviewed by client. Produce monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc transaction reports from Quicken and / or Quickbooks Prepare annual informational tax filings including 1099s and W-2s Develop a thorough knowledge of an assigned client base Communicate directly with clients and other professional advisors as needed Complete other family office services as assigned Requirements The successful candidate will have: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities Excellent computer proficiency (e.g. Word, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook) Experience interfacing with clients on a regular basis Experience with Bill.com is a plus Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Quicken experience preferred Quickbooks experience preferred Team player mentality Commitment to company values Clearstead is committed to building a culturally diverse workforce and strongly encourages applications from minorities and women.
