This position is designated as a TIER 2, and we’ll give preference to individuals as required by Section 22-2-4(B). Requirements · HCPs shall have a minimum of two years’ experience as a practicing provider in the last three years. Residency time counts as practicing experience. Time spent in an administrative capacity as a claim’s reviewer, medical school instructor, medical director, internet physician, etc. does not qualify as practicing time. · HCPs should be a Medical Doctor (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) and be capable of treating all ages of patients. · HCPs shall have and maintain, always at Contractor expense, current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Family Practice/Primary care providers, · HCPs shall possess and always maintain a current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration number. · HCP’s must be board eligible or board certified. · HCP’s must have completion of a nationally recognized postgraduate training program in a general primary care specialty · Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. · Must be a US citizen living primarily in the United States
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive family practice medical services to both adult and pediatric patients at the Cass Lake IHS facility. Perform general primary care duties and follow instructions from supervisors to ensure quality healthcare delivery.
