Description:
THE OPPORTUNITY:
- Support Indigenous community members who are at risk of becoming homeless, are homeless and experience barriers in accessing resources and services
- Identify barriers specific to each client and assist in accessing services, referrals and resources
- Assess potential obstacles or conflicts that may arise which prevent access to services, and provide strategies in overcoming those obstacles

Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of First Nations culture and traditions (specifically Carrier and Sekani)
- Knowledge of services related to employment counselling, job search, vocational rehabilitation, social services, supported housing or persons with disabilities
- Extensive working knowledge of residential areas housing providers and area real estate; private market housing partners and working knowledge of Residential Tenancies Act and associated Acts.
- Knowledge and/or experience about the rights and responsibilities of the tenants and landlords in the residential tenancies in British Colombia.
