To be considered must attach transcripts SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Site Supervisor I/II, the Family Service Worker is responsible for the recruitment of children, verification of eligibility, collaboration with parent orientation, referral of parents to community resources and local social services, agencies, and updating children’s records. Maintains child/family files and reference records and engages in respectful, positive, goal-oriented partnerships with families to promote positive child and family outcomes. Works closely with the Enrollment and Attendance and support services to ensure family services are met. Promotes an inclusive and respectful environment for all families to participate in the program. Responsible for compliance with Head Start Performance Standards, State Programs Funding Terms and Conditions, and Community Care Licensing Title 22 and Title 5.
