CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Business Acumen: Experience in business development and client acquisition.

Responsibilities
  • Department Development: Establish and grow the Family Law Department, setting strategic goals and building a client base.
  • Case Management: Handle a diverse caseload of private family law matters, including divorce, financial settlements, child arrangements, cohabitation disputes, and domestic abuse cases.
  • Client Relations: Provide empathetic and professional legal advice, maintaining high standards of client care.
  • Advocacy: Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations, demonstrating strong advocacy skills.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and manage junior solicitors and support staff as the department grows.
  • Business Development: Engage in networking and marketing activities to promote the department and attract new clients.
  • Compliance: Ensure all work complies with legal regulations and the firm’s policies.
