THE OPPORTUNITIES: 2 X FAMILY SOLICITORS – START ASAP

Due to an exciting period of expansion in our dynamic Family Department, we have two opportunities for dedicated individuals who are seeking challenging yet rewarding roles, looking to take the next step on their legal career path. These are both full-time positions (35 hours/week); Monday to Thursday 9 am to 5 pm, and Friday 8.30 am to 4 pm. Both roles will be based at our Hereford office. We will consider applicants who wish to work from home on a hybrid basis.

THE CANDIDATES

We are looking for candidates with experience of working within family, public and/or private children law. We are seeking candidates who want to continue their development, have the ability to use their own initiative and are highly organised.

Responsibilities
  • Manage an active caseload encompassing a wide range of private and public children law matters.
  • Provide legal advice and representation to clients in family law proceedings.
  • Developing strong client relationships, providing sensitive and empathetic support.
  • Conduct legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
  • ·Instructing counsel and experts.
  • Assist with the supervision and training of paralegals within the department.
  • Assisting the Head of Department as necessary.
  • Keeping up to date with changes in the law and relevant case law.
