Description Blooming Behavior Services provides evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for children on the spectrum or with developmental disabilities. We are looking to hire a Family Success and Administrative Assistant in San Diego who wants to join a growing company and utilize their experience to make a significant impact on their fellow employees’ lives and the families we serve. This is a part-time, in-person role requiring 25 hours of work per week. The position is based out of our office in Mission Valley, with a consistent on-site schedule Monday through Friday. What you will do: Speak with parents interested in ABA services to support access to care by responding to questions or providing the requested information. Deliver professional, compassionate patient service while ensuring HIPAA compliance Reviewing patient eligibility, coordinating referrals, and authorizations Completing patient and employee onboarding and all documentation required within internal systems Input new and ongoing authorizations for all patients Review past due accounts and payment plan options as needed. Address and determine solutions and fill client and staff scheduling needs based on collaboration with Scheduling, Behavior Analysts, and Clinical Directors (including sub sessions, start dates, etc) Assist with office administration tasks related to inventory, materials management, and meeting reservations Generate Canva, Excel, or other related program documents for social media, team huddles, holidays, etc. Assist in planning and setting up for team meetings and social events Source and qualify new leads for ABA referrals within the designated region, covering pediatricians, psychologists/neuropsychologists, daycares, and other potential partners Other duties, as requested Requirements Availability Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM High school diploma or GED Bilingual in Spanish preferred Proficient in software systems, including Excel, PowerPoint, Monday.com, and G-Suite Must have medical office experience with scheduling, authorizations, and/or onboarding new patients for a hospital, ER/OR, or mobile clinical staff Excellent customer-oriented attitude Ability to "think on your feet" and problem-solve on the go Proficiency in digital marketing tools High level of planning and organizational skills; high energy; excellence driven; team player Must have excellent critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills Prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Proficient in Central Reach and Paylocity Preferred Past work history with ABA scheduling is strongly preferred Benefits of Working at Blooming: $18.00- $25.00 / hour - based on qualifications Company Sponsored 401k Paid Holidays and PTO Casual work environment with GREAT company culture!
