Our services and programs are free of charge for kids (0-15) and their families at every stage of the cancer experience.

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE (PREFERRED)

  • 2 years’ relative experience gained within the not for profit, health or commercial sectors
  • Experience working with families impacted by serious illness and bereavement
  • Experience using Salesforce will be highly regarded.

QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING

  • Cert III or IV in administration, or similar
  • Counselling or social work qualifications will be highly regarded
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Family Support Coordinator is part of the Services and Programs team, and you will be responsible for supporting families from the start of and throughout their Camp Quality journey. You will ensure they are connected to the right services and programs. You will oversee a portfolio of family getaways as well as support with emergency respite.

  • Use your excellent people skills coordinating our family registrations
  • Build relationships with external service providers associated with family getaways
  • Respond to emergency respite requests

OTHER REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE:

  • You will have superb customer service and interpersonal skills and ability to engage in building relationships.
  • Sound project management skills.
  • You will have an empathetic and flexible approach to manage the sensitivity of diverse families
  • Highly organised and adaptable, with the ability to prioritise, meet tight deadlines, and successfully coordinate multiple tasks
  • Some reasonable out of hours work and communication will be required in extenuating circumstances
  • Some inter / intra state travel may be required
  • Current Working With Children Check
  • Current driver’s license
