  • Bachelors degree with specialisation in in Social Work, Child Development, Psychology or a related subject area. Masters qualification preferred.
  • A genuine interest in young people and their wellbeing.
  • Demonstrate empathy for young people in our care in an open minded and nonjudgmental manner.
  • Highly developed capacity for emotional self-regulation including the capacity to set and maintain consistent boundaries to provide safety, stability and consistency.

The Family Support Services program, funded by Territory Families, Housing and Communities in partnership with Danila Dilba, is at the forefront of transforming lives by delivering exceptional support to those facing complex challenges and trauma.
In this role, you’ll be part of a vital collaboration, coordinating an innovative and responsive service system to tackle high-needs situations, helping families thrive and navigate through tough times. You’ll be directly involved in strengthening connections between a network of service providers and government agencies, ensuring services are of the highest quality, efficient, and work together seamlessly to prevent unnecessary intervention.
With a clear focus on building partnerships, fostering collaboration, and driving evidence-based outcomes, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to positive change, support community empowerment, and work on the cutting edge of family support services. This is a Permanent Full-Time (38 hours per week) opportunity based in Northern Territory within our NT Services program. The position reports to the Manager, WA/NT.
